The share price of V.L. Enterprise Public Company Limited (VL) rose as much as ฿0.30/share or 14.56% to ฿2.36/share as of 12:08 local time in Thailand with a trading value of 218 million baht.
The price at Bt2.36 marked an all-time high for VL since entering the Market of Alternative Investment (mai) in 2019 with an IPO of ฿1.75/share.
Mrs. Chutipa Klinsuwan, Chief Executive Officer of VL, emphasized on being the sea transportation operator for petroleum and chemical products. The VL.23 fleet with a capacity of 2,800 DWT will arrive in April, which will allow the company to start the operation right away.
Meanwhile, the company has purchased one more fleet with a capacity of 10,000-12,000 DWT, expecting to arrive later this year, which was faster than expected. VL will acquire another fleet with a capacity of 3,000 DWT in 2023, which will increase its total fleets to 15 with a total capacity of 53,801 DWT.
Lastly, the company will expand its route to China and India to increase customer base in Asia and business opportunity.
