Maybank Kim Eng has given a “BUY” recommendation on Kasikornbank Public Company Limited (KBANK) with a target price at ฿160.00/share.
Maybank expected 2021-22 earnings to grow 8-11% with an increase in upside to lower than expected credit costs and higher fee income growth in 1Q21; asset quality in 1Q21 is better than expected KBANK shares is currently trading at 0.62 x PBV, which is still a relatively inexpensive level.
Asia Wealth Securities (AWS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Ratchthani Leasing Public Company Limited (THANI) with a target price at ฿4.72/share.
AWS expected 2Q21 earnings to increase QoQ from lower financial cost and provision. The leasing in 2H21 is believed to improve from the recovery in the Covid-19 situation and more relief measures from the government sector.
Meanwhile, AWS stated that THANI’s asset quality was slightly weakened in 1Q21 as NPL ratio was at 3.21%% from 3.13Q in 4Q20.
