ROJNA Extends the Gain to 14% as the Analyst Advises to Monitor the Land Transfer in 2021

ROJNA continued to extend its gain, breaking the target price given by KSS at Bt8.00 per share. The analyst recommended to keep an eye on the transfer of land ownership.

The share price of Rojana Industrial Park Public Company Limited (ROJNA) continued to edge higher in the afternoon session, gaining ฿1.05/share or 14.09% to ฿8.50/share with a trading value of 738 million baht on June 4, 2021.

The increase in the share price of ROJNA has broken the target price of Bt8.00 per share given by Krungsri Securities (KSS), stating that the 2021 performance will depend on the land transfer, while having a backlog worth 636 rai as of the ending of March 2021. As for the electricity generation and infrastructure business, KSS expected the performance to be stable compared to the previous quarter.

For the first quarter of 2021, ROJNA earned a total net profit of 293.107 million baht, compared with a net loss of 807.736 million baht in the same period of last year. This is mainly attributed to 1) the revenue from sales of property slightly decreased as the customers are not yet due for final payment and transfer of land ownership. 2) The revenue from sales of electricity declined due to FT adjustment, 3) the revenue from services and rentals, which is the revenue derived from sales of industrial-used water, provision of wastewater treatment services and common services fees, grew slightly, and 4) gain on sales of non-current financial assets.
