“Sirivadhanabhakdi” and “Chansiri” entered into a joint investment and collaboration to establish Food and Beverage United Company Limited in which have “Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi”, a top-ranking executive of ThaiBev, and “Thiraphong Chansiri”, top-ranking executive of TU, as a Board of Directors. According to shareholding structure, BevTech Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary in ThaiBev group, holds 50.9999% and Thai Union Ingredients Company Limited, a subsidiary of TU, holds 49%, meanwhile Thai Drinks Company Limited will hold another 0.0001%. Despite having a simple name for a new joint venture, the Board of Directors name listing is somehow extraordinary, which could be significant. Objective of incorporation is to product development, production and distribution of nutritious food and beverage products. An interesting question is what would happen when Thailand's largest beverage company billionaire “Sirivadhanabhakdi” teamed up with the global leading seafood-based food producer tycoon “Chansiri”..? TU in recent years has been investing in many innovative products in order to add value. For example, Yellowfin Tuna Slices product, the ready-to-eat tuna slices made from whole yellowfin tuna loins, which is rolled out across Europe, USA and China. Moreover, “Thiraphong” acquired the stake of Inter Pharma Public Company Limited (IP), the biopharmaceutical company that is dedicated to improve, develop and distribute health care and beauty with innovative products for both human and animal. Hence TU would use IP’s innovative knowledge to build on the core of its products, along with the support from ThaiBev capacity, such as factory, bottom packaging, logistic, distribution channels and marketing. What a win-win partnership..! In addition, TU has just amended the Memorandum of Association regarding the company’s objectives “to carry on the business of manufacturing, distribution and trading of food, dietary supplement products, nutritional supplement products, medicine, beauty care products, and other consumer goods” See..!
