THAI Appoints “McKinsey” to Cooperate with “EY” for Rehabilitation Plan

THAI Appoints “McKinsey” to Cooperate with “EY” for Rehabilitation Plan.

Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, Thai PM advisor and director of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), announced that the company has appointed EY Corporate Advisory Services Company Limited (EY) to initiate the rehabilitation plan for the company with a budget of 20 million baht.

However, Mr. Pirapan asserted that the company had just realized that EY (Thailand) does not specialize in a rehabilitation plan for airlines, while the appointment of EY was approved by the previous Board of Directors. Thus, the company had to appoint McKinsey & Company, which has experience in a rehabilitation plan for American Airlines, with a budget of 17 million baht as an airline expert to cooperate with EY.
