Chamber of Commerce Predicts Thai Exports to Contract 9.6% in 2020, Worst in a Decade.


The Chamber of Commerce forecasted a contraction of 9.6% for Thai exports in 2020, the lowest in a decade with a value of 222,744 million dollars under the estimation of the global economy to contract by 5% and Thai economy to contract by 7.7% as the economy still could not recover from the coronavirus crisis.

Moreover, the fluctuating in baht could affect Thai exports and could further plunge as much as 13.5%.
