CPALL Acquires 7-Eleven Franchising Rights in Cambodia for 30 Years


CP All Public Company Limited (CPALL) announced in reference to the previous announcement dated 21 February 2019 on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in connection with the negotiation of the Master Franchise Agreement with respect to the establishment and operation of 7-Eleven Stores in the neighboring country. 

 

On 5 May 2020, CP ALL (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., an indirect subsidiary of CPALL (in which CPALL has 100% shareholding through Albuera International Limited, a direct subsidiary with 100% shareholding), entered into a Master Franchise Agreement with respect to the operation of 7-Eleven Stores in Cambodia with 7-Eleven, Inc., under which CP ALL (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is granted franchising rights in the establishment and operation of 7-Eleven Stores in Cambodia for a period of 30 years, which the parties may agree to extend by two additional 20-year terms. 

 

CP ALL (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is a newly-incorporated subsidiary company, established in accordance with the laws of Cambodia for the operation of the 7-Eleven business under the aforementioned Master Franchise Business in Cambodia, and has an initial registered capital of 5,000 USD.
