Kaohoon’s Top News on May 11, 2021


Today is the day that IRPC, TOP, and OR are scheduled to release their 1Q21 results. The net profit of IRPC would be 4,888 million baht, up 154.9% as an outcome of the goods spread recovery. The petrochemical business is expected to help TOP return to a profit of 3,180 million baht. Meanwhile, thanks to oil recovery, OR would record earnings of 3,083 million baht, up 62%.

 

In 1Q21, Thai Union Group (TU) recorded a net profit of 1,803 million baht, up 77% YoY. The rise was attributed to the frozen food sector. CPF is scheduled to release its first-quarter operating results on May 13, 2021. The higher swine selling price and sales volume, as well as a shared profit from CTI and Lotus, could push the net profit to an all-time high of 7,644 million baht, up 25%.

 

Thai Airways (THAI) will be reclassified as a state-owned company by the cabinet today (May 11). Tomorrow (May 12), creditors will decide on the Rehabilitation Plan.

 

WINMED is set to start trading on mai today (May 11). Analysts predicted that the stock would outperform its IPO price of ฿3.10/share, owing to strong fundamentals and a P/E of 24.04x, which is lower than BIZ and TM. Analysts have set a target price of ฿3.80 to ฿4.50 per share.

 

On its first trading day, Ngern Tid Lor (TIDLOR) jumped 25.34%, with a massive trading volume of 33,265 million baht. The company expected a 15-20% CAGR and stated that a potential SET50 listing would have to wait until early 2022. With a target price of ฿56.00/share, analysts recommended “BUY.”
