PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is anticipated to divest its holding in GPSC, leaving it with a 12.73 percent stake, resulting in an estimated 9,000-10,000 million baht will be booked in 2Q21. Furthermore, PTTGC has put aside 20,000 million baht for M&A of high-quality chemical businesses. Meanwhile, the tender offer for VNT will be advanced to 4Q21.

Today (June 7) marked the beginning of a nationwide vaccination campaign. The Ministry of Public Health announced that around 3.54 million doses of Covid vaccines are now on hand and that around 3.42 million doses will arrive in Thailand this month. Over 4 million people have received at least one shot as of now. Additionally, the Ministry confirmed that a purchase agreement with Pfizer will be inked this week. Meanwhile, Bangkok’s governor stated that the city is prepared to inject 7,000 people daily. Private hospitals are expected to import the Moderna as early as September.
