The Public Private Partnership (PPP) has approved a huge construction project to build a controlled-access highway, or what we call “Motorway” from Nakhon Pathom Province to Cha-am district in Phetchaburi Province, under the PPP Fast Track measurement, which is a measurement to speed up projects.
The total investment of this project is 79 billion baht, splitting into two portions. The government will invest no more than 55.8 billion baht on the land ownership for the construction, and construction. While the other portion will be given to the contractor to build the system, rest areas, consultants as well as operation and maintenance for 30 years from the commencement date.
Reporter states that the project has already benefited contractor section since yesterday after the announcement. There are 4 contractor shares that are likely to gain the most from this project and possibly acquire the construction job from the auction.

Currently, ITD has 300 billion baht backlog in estimation, 120 billion baht for STEC, 60 billion baht for CK and 34 billion baht for UNIQ.
