JKN Plans to Book Higher Revenue in 2019, Investing ฿800M. to Penetrate Int’l Markets

JKN plans to further its content business by investing 800 million to promote and sell content copyrights in international markets.


Mr. Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of JKN Global Media Public Company Limited (JKN) has announced that the company has set a target to increase the revenue by 20% in 2019 from THB 1.42 billion in 2018 to approximately THB 1.70 billion in 2019.

JKN plans to focus on penetrating Asia markets by selling copyrights of Indian and Philippines series in all platforms according to its new marketing strategy “Superstar Marketing.” JKN will invest THB 800 million for more contents to support business expansion both domestically and internationally.

 

Furthermore, JKN is planning to penetrate Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and Taiwan content markets as well. These international markets are considered “Blue Ocean” for JKN to promote its contents, creating more opportunities for the company along with higher revenue. The success of this business planning is reflected from the accomplishment in Myanmar and Cambodia markets that interested a lot of publishers looking to broadcast JKN’s contents. The company gained more than 20% proportion of income in 2018 from international markets and expects to increase the proportion to 30% in 2019.
