Breaking News! AOT Separates Duty-Free Concession into 2 Contracts

AOT has announced new conditions to separate duty-free concession into 2 contracts.

It has been reported that the Board of Directors of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has resolved to the resolution on March 28, 2019, to separate the duty-free concession into two contracts, one contract for Suvarnabhumi Airport, and another one for other three airports (Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai).

Bidders can recieve an envelope on April 1-18, 2019, submitting on May 22, presenting presentation on May 27-28, and to announce the highest mark on May 31.

AOT indicates that the shop in the duty-free area must be able to compete with others in the same business in the global market, and the profit from both contracts must not go lower than what AOT currently receives.

As for the commercial area in Suvarnabhumi Airport, the bidding will be a master concession. Bidders can recieve an envelope on April 1-18, 2019, submitting on May 22, presenting presentation on May 29-30, and to announce the highest mark on May 31.
