Stocks in Focus on June 15, 2020: AMA (KGI Securities TP at ฿6.30/share) and PTG (Finansia Syrus Securities TP at ฿18.00/share).

Kaohoon Online has selected stocks with a potential of high growth for investors to consider on June 15, 2020.

KGI Securities has given an “Outperform” rating on AMA Marine Public Company Limited (AMA) with a target price at ฿6.30/share on the expected QoQ surge in earnings in 2Q20 and hopes on improvement in the COVID-19 situation in 2H20.

KGI expected AMA to report 2Q20 earnings of Bt29mn (-58% YoY, +477% QoQ). The drop YoY would be mainly from softer profit from shipping business as shipping revenues are projected to drop 7% YoY due to COVID-19. The jump QoQ would be driven by shipping revenues rising 16% QoQ to Bt320mn after many countries started easing lock down measures, following improvement in the COVID-19 situation while there would be no vessel maintenance in 2Q20.

KGI rolled the target price over to 1H21 at Bt6.30, from Bt4.30, based on P/E 19.0x, reflecting robust earnings growth of 96% YoY in 2021.

Finansia Syrus Securities (FSS) has given a “BUY” rating on PTG Energy Public Company Limited (PTG) with a 12-month target price at ฿18.00/share.

FSS stated that the decline in share price bottomed out in April after reporting a lower sales revenue by 5% YoY and 15% YoY when compared to the sector. Nevertheless, the sales had been recovering since late April and would get better after the announcement of lifting curfew.

Moreover, the retail oil sales also increased as well, while the marketing margin rose to ฿1.8/litre, increased from ฿1.6/litre in 1Q20, in which the increase is nearly at PTG’s normal level.

FSS expected the Palm Complex to decline QoQ, but PTG’s profit in 2Q20 is expected to increase when compared to the previous quarter.
