U.S. Congress Confirms Biden’s Win amid Approval from Democrats and Republicans.

The U.S. Congress officially confirmed Joe Biden’s win as a president in the U.S. election 2020, hours after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol yesterday in anger of Trump losing the election.

The final result was 306 – 232 in a win for the Democrat, and confirmed after the House of Representative and the Senate, in two separate votes in both chambers, accepted the electoral college wins for the Democrat Biden in Arizona and Pennsylvania, along with some rejections from the Republicans.

The confrontation between law enforcement officers and protesters yesterday caused injuries from both sides. A woman who was shot on the Capitol grounds has died, according to police. Later, three more were reportedly dead from medical emergencies.
