ADVANC and CAT submit the bidding envelopes to NBTC, Telecom share prices soar as no new competitors participate in the bidding.
The reporter from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has stated that CAT Telecom Public Company Limited (CAT) and Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (ADVANC) have submitted their bidding envelopes for 700 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz spectrum this afternoon.
The submitting of CAT and ADVANC marked the completed list of operators who received the bidding envelope as TOT, TRUE and DTAC had already submitted their bidding envelopes earlier.
As of 16:16 on Tuesday, ADVANC rose ฿3.00/share or 1.46% to trade at ฿208.00/share. TRUE rose ฿0.08/share or 2.15% to trade at ฿3.80/share, and DTAC rose ฿0.75/share or 1.70% to trade at ฿44.75/share.
The share price of telecommunication operators all rises after confirming that there are no new competitors participating in the biddings as the market has been worried.
