Updated List of Countries Grounding Boeing 737 Max Aircraft

A Boeing 737 operated by Lion Air crashed and killed 189 passengers and crew in October 2018. Not long after, an Ethiopian Airlines with another Boeing 737 crashed on March 10, 2019, and killed 157 people on board.

After the incident, a number of countries have announced that it will ground their Boeing 737 until confirming of their safety. The updated list is as follows:

 

1. Singapore: SilkAir
2. China: Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines
3. Indonesia: Lion Air, Garuda
4. South Korea: Eastar Jet
5. Mongolia: Mongolian Airlines
6. Ethiopia: Ethiopian Airlines
7. South Africa: Comair, Cayman Airways
8. Brasil: Gol
9. Mexico: Aeromexico
10. Norway: Norwegian Air Shuttle
11. Australia: Fiji Airlines
12. Argentina: Aerolineas Argentinas
13. Turkey: Turkish Airlines
14. UK: Not allow Boeing 737 to cross its airspace
15. Germany: Not allow Boeing 737 to cross its airspace
16. France: Not allow Boeing 737 to cross its airspace
17. Ireland: Not allow Boeing 737 to cross its airspace
18. Netherland: Not allow Boeing 737 to cross its airspace
