Shareholders Approve BEM to End Dispute with EXAT by Extending Expressway Concession

Shareholders have approved BEM to end all dispute with EXAT by extending Sirat Expressway concession.


At the Annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), 3/4 of shareholders approve the company to conclude all dispute with Express Authority of Thailand (EXAT) by extending concession of Sirat Expressway, a contract for expansion of Sirat Expressway D Section and Pakkret-Bang Pa-in Expressway to April 21, 2057.

Moreover, EXAT will allow BEM to consider in increasing express fee bat a stable rate every 10 years and also allowing the company to invest in a maintenance of Sirat Expressway with an investment value of THB 31.5 billion.
