SAMTEL’s High Record of Revenue Buoys 2Q Profit to Increase by 15% to THB 80 Million.
Samart Telcoms Public Company Limited (SAMTEL) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:
SAMTEL has announced the profit in 2Q19 at THB 80.10 million, which increased by THB 11 million or 15.1%, from the same period of last year. The increase was mainly due to a higher revenue in the quarter which recorded at THB 3,169 million, increased by THB 1,076 million
or 51.4 % from 2Q18.
On the other hand, selling expenses, administrative expenses, and other expenses were THB 240 million, increased from 2Q18 by THB 73 million or 43.6% mainly from increasing of severance pay rates for employees who have worked for an uninterrupted THB 34 million and other expenses THB 57 million.
In addition, the Board of Directors meeting passed a resolution to pay an interim dividend at ฿0.20/share. The ex-dividend date will be on August 27, 2019 and the payment date will be on September 11, 2019.
