SISB Expects to Welcome More Students in 2019 to Build a Continuous Profit Growth!

Mr. Yew Hock Koh expects to welcome 200-250 new students in this year which will be the driver of SISB's profit in 2019.

Mr. Yew Hock Koh, Chief Executive Officer of SISB Public Company Limited (SISB), has stated that the company has been invited by the Stock Exchange of Thailand to attend the event “Thailand Focus 2019: Embracing Opportunities – The Next Chapter” on August 28-30, 2019.

In this event, SISB has been granted the opportunity to present the company’s information and vision to over 20 institutions who will be participating in the event.

Mr. Yew Hock Koh is confident that the participation of SISB will have a positive response due to the strong financial status along with constant revenue and the continuous growth of the company.

Furthermore, Mr. Yew Hock Koh has also stated that SISB’s performance in the second half of 2019 has a tendency to be better than the first half due to the coming up of a new semester. In the first half of the year, the school had 170 new students while expecting 200-250 new students by year-end which will be the driver for SISB’s revenue.

In addition to the regular curriculum, SISB is preparing “International Baccalaureate” or IB, opening an option to high schoolers in SISB to prepare themselves before entering university. IB is expected to be opened in the next academic year.

In the first half of 2019, SISB recorded 94.50 million baht of profit, increased 116%YoY from the total revenue of 541.03 million baht, increased 19% YoY.

The factors that led to a better performance of the company were due to a higher number of students, lower interest, no loan after the company had used the funds from IPO as repayment to institutions while having good cost management.
