RATCH Rejoices after Court Dismisse the Alleged Violation of Power Plant Project Bidding


Ratch Group Public Company Limited (RATCH) addressed regarding to the Nonthaburi Provincial Court issued a judgement to dismiss the civil case between ST Power Group Co., Ltd. (the Plaintiff) and RATCH on October 25, 2018, based on the rationale that RATCH, its subsidiary and the management had acted in good faith, and that they had never committed any tortious act against the Plaintiff, according to Red Case No. Por. 2448/2561. In this regard, on April 25, 2019, the Plaintiff filed an appeal against such judgement with the Court of Appeal Region 1.

 

On June 10, 2020, the Nonthaburi Provincial Court read the Court of Appeal Region 1’s Judgement, of which the Court of Appeal upheld the Nonthaburi Provincial Court’s judgement to dismiss the Plaintiff’s plaint, given that RATCH did not agree to take part in the business in order to bid for a power plant project jointly with the Plaintiff as alleged by the Plaintiff, and RATCH, its subsidiary and management had never committed any tortious act against the Plaintiff as alleged by the Plaintiff.
