THAI Affirms the Appropriateness and Transparency of Hiring Advisors for Rehab Plans.


In reference to the report of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) hiring Mckinsey & Company Thailand to jointly cooperate with its existing counterparty for the rehabilitation plan, Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron said that the move was appropriate and transparent.

 

Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron, Acting President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), stated that the rehabilitation plan for the company required approval from all sectors, including customers, partners, and loaners as well as stakeholders. Thus, the company has made an appropriate and transparent contract with financial advisors to jointly cooperate in this rehabilitation plan.

The counterparty in this rehabilitation plan includes;

1) Baker & Mckenzie Limited as a legal and contract advisor

2) Finansa Public Company Limited as a financial advisor

3) Mckinsey & Company Thailand as a business planner and airline expert

4) EY Corporate Advisory Services Limited as a co-planner for the rehabilitation plan
