TPOLY Acquires a Construction Work of Mahidol University, Expecting Backlog to Hit ฿4Bn


Thai Polycons Public Company Limited (TPOLY) announced that the company has been awarded for a new construction project of Clinical Anatomy, Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute, to construct the 7-storey reinforced concrete structural building and 1-storey basement with the functional area of the building in an aggregate of 33,975 square meters, together with the landscape and external work of 12,710 square meters. The project owner is Mahidol University (Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital). The contract value is 749,000,000 baht, with the construction period of 900 days.

 

Mr. Pathompol Saosap, President of TPOLY, stated that Thai Polycons has achieved professional expertise in various construction works, principally to ensure that the company service contains the full quality, and attains the maximum satisfaction for customers, which will be a solid path of sustainable growth.

 

For the 2Q20F, TPOLY’s backlog was approximately 2,400 million baht and expects the backlog to reach 4,000 million baht in 2020. In addition, the company expects to recognise more revenue from power plant business as TPCH is set to commerce the COD of 3 plants. Mr. Pathompol said that TPOLY will continue to bid for new project signings, including the construction of hospital buildings, schools and power plants, in accordance with the company’s strategy.
