EXAT Extends 30-Year Expressway Concession for BEM to Settle ฿130bn. Dispute!
EXAT extends three concessions by 30 years for BEM. These three concessions are 1) Si Rat Expressway (A, B, C), 2) Si Rat Expressway (D), 3) Bang Pa-in-Pak Kret Expressway (C+), settling the dispute in the amount of THB 130 billion in value.
On May 15, 2019, the Board of Directors of the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) has resolved to end the dispute with Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) by offering an extension of expressway concessions to BEM.
The approval was made to extend three concessions by 30 years. These three concessions are 1) Si Rat Expressway (A, B, C), 2) Si Rat Expressway (D), 3) Bang Pa-in-Pak Kret Expressway (C+), settling the dispute in the amount of THB 130 billion in value.
