NBTC Reveals a Total of ฿2.9bn to be Compensated for 7 Digital TV Operators!


The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has announced today that it has summarized a total of compensation for each of seven digital TV operators as follows:

1) Spring 26 Company Limited (Channel 26 or as known as NOW) will suspend its broadcasting on August 16, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 675,764,580.43.

2) Spring News Television Company Limited (Channel 19 or Spring News) will suspend its broadcasting on August 16, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 500,951,978.91.

3) Bright TV Company Limited (Channel 20) will suspend its broadcasting on August 16, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 371,983,430.95.

4) Voice TV Company Limited (Channel 21) will suspend its broadcasting on September 1, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 378,054,170.42.

5) Mcot Public Company Limited or MCOT (Channel 14 or MCOT Family) will suspend its broadcasting on August 16, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 163,298,367.32.

6) BEC Multimedia Company Limited (Channel 28 or 3SD) will suspend its broadcasting on October 1, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 680,083,695.45.

7) BEC Multimedia Company Limited (Channel 13 or 3 Family) will suspend its broadcasting on October 1, 2019, and will be compensated at the amount of THB 162,543,837.27.
