CHEWA Reports a Net Loss of 86% in 2Q19 from a Decreasing in Real Estate Sale Revenue


Chewathai Public Company Limited (CHEWA) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

For the second quarter of 2019, CHEWA recorded the net loss of THB 13.20 million compared to the same period of the previous year the profit decrease of THB 106.25 million or 114.19%.

For the Quarter 2/2019, CHEWA recorded the total selling and administrative expenses of THB 85.22 million compared to the same period of previous year, a decrease of THB 41 .2 5 million or 3 3% and for the first six months of 2019 of 167.62 million baht compared to the same period of previous year, a decrease of 56.02 million baht or 25%.

This was mainly due to the decrease from selling expenses in part of transfer expenses which was the result of the decrease of Real estate sales revenue. At the same time, there is an increase in advertising /public relations expenses and personnel expenses which is in line with the new projects that more launch projects
