BANPU Invests ฿824 in 25.22MW Jixin Solar Power Plant, China Expecting to Achieve the Growth Target of 4,300 MW


Banpu Public Company Limited (BANPU) has announced that its subsidiary Banpu Power Company Limited (BPP), BANPU holds 100% share, has been notified that BPP Renewable Investment Co., Ltd. recently invested in new operating solar power plant named “Jixin” with capacity of 25.22 MW located in Jiangsu province, People’s Republic of China. The transaction value is THB 824,360,920. This project was entitled to Feed-in-tariff (FIT) of 1 RMB/Kwh. The contribution from the project will be recognized in 3Q2019.

Inclusive of this project, BPP currently owned a total of 7 Solar Power Plants in China with an aggregate generation capacity of 177.32 MW as in the table below 

BPP will continue seeking for investment opportunities across Asia-Pacific to achieve the growth target of 4,300 MW within 2025 focusing on attractive growth market with supportive government policy.
