ESSO Reports a Plummet in Sales Revenue, Leading to a Net Loss in 1Q by ฿7.9Bn

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited (ESSO) has reported its 1Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

ESSO reported a net loss of 6,306 million baht, contrasted to a net profit of 1,027 million baht in 1Q19.

ESSO stated that in the first quarter of 2020, loss from sales was 7,922 million baht, compared to a profit of 1,204 million baht in the same period of last year, mainly driven by lower market selling prices following crude downward trend and lower sales volume.
