WG Jumps 24.48% to ฿180.50 after a Tender Offer by BJC’s Subsidiary at a Higher Price!
The share price of White Group Public Company Limited (WG) jumped ฿35.50/share or 24.48% at the open to ฿180.50/share in response to the tender offer by BJC Specialties Company Limited (BJCS), a subsidiary of Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC).
The high ceiling in today’s session of WG was due to the measure by SET that will limit the ceiling and floor prices of WG, which effective date is June 22, 2020 onwards, at 100% of its closing price. (In the event that there is no trading of such securities on June 22, 2020, the aforesaid ceiling and floor limit criteria will be valid until trading of the securities occurs). The ceiling and floor prices will subsequently be adjusted according to normal criteria from the next working day.
On June 19, 2020, the resolutions of WG’s Board of Directors meeting approved the proposal of delisting the company’s securities through a tender offer at 185.44 Baht per share by BJC Specialties Company Limited (BJCS).
