STA-STGT Drop in Response to Coronavirus Vaccine News and US Covid-19 Outlook Improving

The share price of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA) and Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT) fell on Tuesday, August 25 as the US Covid-19 situation is improving.

 

As of 12:06 local time in Thailand, STA dropped ฿0.50/share or 1.85% to ฿26.50/share with a trading value of 278 million baht, meanwhile STGT decreased ฿5.00/share or 6.67% to ฿70.00/share with a trading value of 1,209 million baht.

 

The daily number of new coronavirus cases in the US is continuously declining, and the country has reported under 40,000 new cases for the first time since June. Moreover, the US has already given permission for an emergency authorization to use plasma to treat Covid patients.
