DOD Is Expecting Huge Benefit from Gov. ฿100bln. Boosting Thai Herbal Project
Government has planned to boost Thai herbal business using 100 billion dollar. DOD who is the leading company in this field is expecting to gain a huge benefit.
Thai herbal is considered one of best herbal in the world for its abundant properties such as inhalant, perfume, soap, massage oil etc. while widely used as remedy to cure diseases. Seeing how Thai herbal performs in the domestic and international market and the growth potential, the government has planned 100 billion baht projects to enhance Thai herbal business, expected 15% growth per year.
Analysis shows that global herbal supplies market would worth about 4.11 trillion baht. Asia Pacific market has the highest growth and Thai has settled at the world number 5.
The news and government’s actions would benefit DOD Biotech Public Company Limited (DOD) as the company’s core business it to manufacture supplementary foods with its high technology, innovation and extracting abilities. DOD is considered Thailand’s leading herbal extractor as other companies in the same business still have not catched up with DOD in terms of technology and extracting abilities.
DOD had signed MOU with Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine to collaborate in supporting and promoting Thai herbal products to international market according to national master plan 1st edition (2017-2022) of Ministry of Public Help.
DOD will be the main drive to support and improve Thai herbal products to strengthen Thai economy in hoping that this collaboration will flourish Thai herbal industries in international market.
