The Attractiveness of JMART Leads to an Acquisition of 17.2Mn Shares by “Adisak” the CEO

The positive outlook and attractiveness of JMART has led to an acquisition of another 17.2 million shares from Mr. Adisak Sukumvitaya, the CEO.

JMART has set a record high for its yearly earnings, reporting a net profit of 797 million baht in 2020, increased 49.46% from a net profit of 533 million baht in 2019.

The Board of Directors of JMART approved a dividend payment of ฿0.21/share to be paid on May 7, 2021. The ex-dividend date is April 20, 2021.

The promising business outlook that many analysts expected to continue reaching another record high in 2021 and the business in KBJ might be the reason why JMART’s share price has been spiking since before and after the announcement of its earnings.

The prospect of higher revenue and profit in the company was so attractive that Mr. Adisak Sukumvitaya, Chief Executive Officer of JMART, decided to accumulate JMART in the first week of March from 1-5 for a total of 17.20 million shares, representing 1.86% of total paid-up shares of JMART at a value of 499.60 million baht.
