CKP’s 2019 Profit Jumps 25% to ฿770m, Offering a Dividend at ฿0.03/Share.


CK Power Public Company Limited (CKP) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2019 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

In 2019, Revenue from Sales of Electricity and Steam decreased from the previous year, mainly due to the following reasons:

 

CKP reported a net profit in 2019 at 769 million baht, increased 25.35% when compared to a net profit of 599 million baht in 2019. The increase was due to these followings;

1) Project Management Income in 2019 increased from the previous year, consistent with the increase in management fee from higher business activities.

2) CKP Interest Income under Finance Lease Agreement from Nabong Substation starting from 2Q19.

3) The increase in Other Income in 2019 was mainly driven by gain on sales of short-term investment and interest income from Baht 3,000 million long-term loan to XPCL in accordance with the conditions specified in the Sponsors Support Agreement.

 

In addition, the Board of Directors of CKP has approved a resolution for a dividend payment to be paid on May 27, 2020, at a value of ฿0.03/share with an ex-dividend date on May 7, 2020.
