DTAC Edges Higher after a 86% QoQ Profit Growth in 2Q with Strong Cash Flow

DBSVS gave a fair value of DTAC at Bt37, seeing strong cash flow from 6M21 to be sufficient for investment and dividend payout.


The share price of Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC) rose as much as 5.88% at the open on July 19, 2021, after the company recorded a 86% increase in net profit in 2Q21 compared to the previous quarter, but still 19% down from the same period of last year.

 

DBS Vickers Securities gave a fair value of DTAC at ฿37.00/share, expecting service revenues excluding IC to stable or slightly lower this year, while EBITDA is expected to be stable or slightly increase with an investment funds around 13-15 billion baht.

The outlook this year for DTAC is still stable, but the positive side is that the company has better cost and expenses management. Moreover, cash flow for 6M21 solidly recorded at 12.9 billion baht, which is sufficient for further investment and dividend payout.

 

As of 11:26 local time in Thailand, the share price of DTAC dropped slightly lower from its high to a 3.36% gain at ฿30.75/share.
