Due to COVID-19 circumstances being more severe than at any previous time, SMART is reinforcing confidence and safety by setting up ‘Smart Home Isolation’ special teams wherein every member is inoculated against COVID-19.
The teams will take care of residents who live in high-risk areas, by providing advice to those who need to isolate or enter treatment at home. ‘Care from SMART’ item bags are also being given to residents in home isolation. Updates of the situation and useful information are provided through the SMART WORLD application, a safe communications channel for SMART and its clients’ residents as it does away with face-to-face encounters. Meanwhile, essential transactions and errands can still take place as usual.
By facilitating successful home isolation and home treatment, SMART hopes to offload some of the burden on healthcare workers, so that Thailand may pull through this crisis in due course.
